Proof of Operator is an independent operator capability assessment tool. It analyses 40 browser-based signals, synthesises behavioural signals, and generates a SHA-256 cryptographic record of the assessment. The record is saved to a public ledger maintained by Brainiac Ltd.
The seal constitutes evidence that an independent assessment was conducted at a specific date and time. It records the conditions under which the assessment was performed. It does NOT constitute: (a) a legal certification of compliance with EU Regulation 2024/1689 or any other law, (b) a guarantee of regulatory approval, (c) a warranty of the assessed party's ongoing compliance status, or (d) a legal opinion on any party's regulatory obligations.
Seals are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. After 12 months, the seal status changes to EXPIRED and reassessment is required. An expired seal remains on the public ledger as a historical record but does not represent current compliance status.
Brainiac Ltd is an independent third-party auditor. Brainiac Ltd is not the AI provider, the AI deployer, or the regulated entity. The assessment is conducted without influence from the assessed party. The hash is deterministic - the same inputs always produce the same hash. The assessment cannot be retroactively edited.
Brainiac Ltd provides the assessment tool and maintains the public ledger. Brainiac Ltd is not liable for: (a) regulatory decisions made by any authority based on the seal, (b) the accuracy of the signals detected by the browser-based assessment, (c) any changes in the assessed party's compliance status after the assessment date, or (d) any business decisions made based on the assessment results. The assessment is a point-in-time snapshot, not an ongoing monitoring service.
The assessment runs entirely in the user's browser. No data is transmitted to any server during the assessment. Only the SHA-256 hash and assessment metadata (sovereignty quotient, operator tier, archetype, signal count) are saved to the public ledger. No personal data, browsing history, or behavioural data is stored.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
